Jazz dance concentrates on style, technique, formations, combined with the characteristic movements. Jazz dance training helps to develop or improve timing, speed, strength, agility, and coordination.

About Crystal
Crystal is a graduate from University of Missouri Kansas City and has her Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication and a Master’s in Business Administration. While at UMKC she was a member of the National collegiate award winning dance team.
She has studied different styles of dance for more than 25 years, including but not limited to: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Ballroom, and Hip Hop. Crystal began dancing at the age of four. As a child she competed regionally and nationally traveling around the United States receiving top awards and scholarships including, Best Choreography, Best Technique, Best Leaps, and Most Entertaining.
Crystal has taught at numerous studios, and has adjudicated various dance competitions. She has gone on to teach master classes around the Mid-West. Crystal Started a traveling studio called CJ Tumble that would teach acro clinics to dance studios and school cheer teams. Crystal now owns CJ Dance Crew in Blue Springs Missouri.
